MAPT project:
Sløjfen. Ski Jump Holmenkollen, Norway. 2007
What : Ski Jump
Where : Holmenkollen, Norway.
When : 2007.
Sløjfen is a new iconic ski jump for Norway. It has an easy recognizable form, which is elegant and functional. The form is one continuous flow. The supporting leg of the structure becomes the ramp and in the loop where they meet all functions are gathered.
All parts of the building are pre fabricated at a shipyard using a technique known as “Developable Surfaces”. This technique makes complex geometries easy to produce. Everything is assembled on site.
