The new head office for DI has an exclusive address on Rådhuspladsen in Copenhagen. It is a mix of the existing building, were the proportions are kept and a new structure sits on top. The new building is a light and transparent structure. When seen from the street it looks inviting making you wonder: “wow, how would it feel to walk around in the “tree tops?”.

Constructions becomes an important architectural element. They are creating interesting spaces as well as filtrating light. They are “organic” structures that use different proportions to deal with different tasks.

Most of the beams are reinforced fibreglass filled with a concrete core. This new hybrid allows a new aesthetic, and a much more up to date manufacturing process.
